Terms & Conditions - Academy

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Swar Connect platform by academies. By registering and using the platform, the academy agrees to comply with these terms.

1. Eligibility

  • The academy must be a registered institution operating legally in India.
  • Valid registration details such as Shop Act / Udyam / GST are recommended but not mandatory.
  • The academy must provide accurate business and contact information during onboarding.

2. Payments

  • Swar Connect enables digital fee collection through UPI, cards, net banking, and wallets.
  • Any applicable transaction charges will be displayed before payment confirmation.
  • Refunds are initiated and approved only by the academy.
  • Refund processing time is typically 5–7 working days.
  • Transaction fees charged by payment gateways are non-refundable.

3. Responsibilities of the Academy

  • Provide accurate fee structures, student details, and batch information.
  • Ensure that all fee amounts displayed to students are correct.
  • Honor refund and cancellation policies communicated to students.
  • Maintain compliance with local/state education regulations.
  • Ensure timely communication with students regarding fees, refunds, and updates.
  • Keep login credentials secure and restrict dashboard access to authorized staff only.

4. Role of Swar Connect

  • Swar Connect acts solely as a technology facilitator for fee collection.
  • Swar Connect is not responsible for disputes between academies and students.
  • Swar Connect does not determine fee amounts, refund eligibility, or academic policies.
  • Payment processing is handled by Razorpay, a secure and compliant payment gateway.

5. Data Privacy

  • Personal and payment data is encrypted and stored securely.
  • Data is used only for:
  • Payment processing
  • Communication
  • Generating receipts and reports
  • Data is shared only with:
  • Payment gateways
  • Compliance authorities (if required by law)
  • No data is sold or shared with unauthorized third parties.

6. Compliance

  • All transactions comply with RBI guidelines and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
  • Academies must comply with applicable education and business regulations in their state.

7. Limitation of Liability

    Swar Connect is not responsible for:

  • Incorrect fee amounts entered by the academy
  • Payment delays caused by banks or payment gateways
  • Disputes between students and academies
  • Errors arising from incorrect data provided by the academy

8. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
  • Any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of Pune, Maharashtra.

9. Updates

  • Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically.
  • Academies will be notified via app/email before changes take effect.

Terms & Conditions - Student

These Terms & Conditions apply to all students using the Swar Connect application for fee payments and related services. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility

  • Students must be enrolled in a registered academy partnered with Swar Connect.
  • Academies must provide valid registration details (Shop Act/Udyam/GST optional but recommended).

2. Payments

  • Fees can be paid via UPI, cards, net banking, or wallets.
  • Transaction charges (if any) will be shown before payment confirmation.
  • Refunds are academy-initiated and processed within 5–7 working days.
  • Transaction fees are non-refundable.

3. Responsibilities

  • Students must ensure accurate payment details.
  • Academies must provide correct fee structures and honor refund policies.
  • Swar Connect acts only as a facilitator and is not liable for disputes.

4. Data Privacy

  • Personal and payment data is encrypted and stored securely.
  • Data is used only for payment processing and communication.
  • No data is shared with third parties except payment gateways and compliance authorities.

5. Compliance

  • All transactions comply with RBI guidelines and IT Act 2000.
  • Academies must follow local/state education regulations.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Swar Connect is not responsible for incorrect fee amounts, payment delays due to banks/gateways, or disputes between students and academies.
